Welcome to St. Andrew's Festival 2021

Here (below) is a set of pictures illustrating each of the St.Andrew’sFest21events (except the very successful story-writing workshop).

Months of considerable voluntary effort were rewarded by superb organisation and
presentation of the FREE events by Campsie Festivals Association,
with the support of Milton of Campsie Village Hall Trust, which provided the premises and facilities.
Many thanks to all others who provided help and support (including MoC Community Council and EDAC).

Artists were pleased that over 20% of pictures for sale were sold (with no commission!) (Sieglinde Bucher’s dramatic large painting ‘Storm’ was voted favourite by viewers so she gained the prize of vouchers for art materials from 'ArtWorld-on-Line' in Lennoxtown).

The Ceilidh included many performers (aged 8 to 85!) doing some great turns.

Campsie Scottish Folk Players performed throughout the Ceilidh with many of their own compositions and arrangements of celtic music.

JazzCo played a fine memorial concert of swinging bop composed by their much-missed band leader, Richard Burton, who was a covid victim a year ago.
